Meet Claire from ANU Wellness

Claire Grady is a qualified Nutritional Therapist (NT) and advocate for healthy eating and lifestyle medicine. She graduated in 2013 from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) and is an active member of Nutritional Therapists of Ireland (NTOI).

Owner of ANU Wellness a Galway based holistic Nutritional Therapy practice focusing on nutrition and lifestyle recommendations to help people achieve optimal health and well-being of the mind, body and spirit. Working previously as a Senior Health Advisor and Training Manager at a large health-food store as well as her role as Trainer and Area Manager for a global Nutritional Supplement company. She has been a direct link between the general
public and Nutritional Supplement Companies. Thus making the varied and often conflicting nutritional information available to us to easier to interpret and implement positively into our daily lifestyle choices.

Her extensive and most up to date knowledge of Nutritional and Lifestyle recommendations can help guide you to achieve and maintain your individual personal health goals. Following setting up her NT practice she has also worked in the field of Workplace Wellness helping a number of organisations to improve both the health and well-being of their staff as well as their workspaces.

Furthermore, her role as an NT and Lecturer at the College of Naturopathic Medicine has opened up opportunities for Claire to share her knowledge and expertise as a key note speaker at a number of wellness events around the country.

ANU Wellness is a client-cantered, functional medicine based Nutritional Therapy practice in Galway. At ANU Wellness we focus on individualized nutrition and lifestyle recommendations to help you achieve optimal health and wellbeing of the mind, body and spirit.

Claire is passionate about using food as medicine and the tradition of using food and herbs therapeutically to help her clients achieve their individual health and wellness goals.

Women’s health is an area close to Claire’s heart and she strives to use her knowledge and education to empower to women take care of themselves so that they can in turn care for others. As women we are ever changing throughout our lives and educating women on how their bodies’ work and how we can look after our health through our everyday choices plays a big role in her Nutritional Therapy practice.

Practical Nutrition Advice

Personally, Claire is no stranger to the challenges and struggles of maintaining a healthy balance in order to achieve her own health and wellness goals and is always willing to share her personal insight while walking her own wellness path.

After all those who have struggled the most have the most to teach us. As a mum of two small boys, she is no stranger to the challenge of being a mum, a caregiver and a wife can be on our physical and mental wellbeing and so is keen to share what she has learned along the road.
